Abstract: This update is being provided to resolve known issues found since the original release of Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 8. It is intended for non-root installations of eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 8.
Platform: Linux (non-root installations)
This patch can be used to either install a new server or patch a server currently running eDirectory 8.8 SP8. If the server is running an earlier version of eDirectory, IE., 8.8 SP7, the original FCS ISOs must be used first.
Note: Do not install this patch on an OES server!!! The patch channel must be used to update an OES server. If this patch is applied to an OES server, NDSD will become nonfunctional.
The eDirectory server version contained in this patch: 20809.20.
