eDirectory 8.8 SP5 Patch6 Hotfix2 for NetWare

Abstract: This Hotfix contains updated OpenSSL components to resolve a security vulnerability found in eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 5 Patch 6. This patch is for NetWare 6.5 SP8 platforms only. As Hotfixes are not cumulative, the server should already have all patches applied up to and including eDirectory 8.8 SP5 Patch 6 Hotfix 1 before applying this patch.

NetIQ KPA (Kerberos Password Agent) 1.0

Abstract:

The 64-bit Kerberos Password Agent (KPA) 1.0 allows for NMAS password changes in the latest version of eDirectory to be synchronized to either a MIT or Novell KDC server.

NOTE: This tool is not supported on eDirectory 9.0 and above.  For those versions this agent is already included.  It can be found in the installation directory .../eDirectory/setup/

NOTE: This product is not supported on an OES server!!!

This update is being provided to resolve critical issues found since the original release of Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 7 Patch 6. This hotfix specifically addresses a vulnerability in the SSLv3 protocol (AKA Poodle) described in CVE-2014-3566. This Hotfix contains previous Hotfixes released for 8.8 Support Pack 7 Patch 6.     Abstract: This update is being provided to resolve important issues found since the original release of Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 8. Important: - This installer uses the full product installer, not that of the patch installer previously used. This patch can be used to install new servers or patch existing 8.8 SP8 servers. If the server is running an older version of eDirectory, IE., 8.8 SP7, then the original eDirectory 8.8 SP8 FCS ISOs available on the download site must first be used.         eDirectory 9.0.4 Plug-ins for iManager 3.0.4 (Updated)

        Abstract:

        This patch contains updated npms that include a few fixes not included in those that were released with eDirectory 9.0.4 and iManager 3.0.4. 

        These iManager plugins should only be used on an iManager instance patched to 3.0.4.  This patch should not be used on iManager instances running on OES.  The channel or iManager's internal XML updater should be used instead.

        eDirectory 8.8 SP8 Patch 11 instrumentation for OES2015 SP1

        Abstract: This patch is an update for the eDirectory instrumentation for 8.8 Support Pack 8 Patch 11 found in the latest OES2015 SP1 channel updates.

        This patch resolves an issue where the auditds module would fail to load with error -1437.  To reference a list of fixes in this patch and all previous 8.8 patches please refer to the following: http://www.novell.com/support/viewContent.do?externalId=3426981.

        NOTE: The OES2015 SP1 server must already be patched to eDirectory 8.8 SP8 Patch 11.  This can be verified by typing "ndsstat" at a command prompt.  The correct version is 20812.20.

          eDirectory 9.1.4 Hot Fix 1

          Abstract:

          This Hot Fix is an update to eDirectory 9.1 Support Pack 1 Patch 4 (9.1.4).

          This update contains one fix for dibs using compound indexes. Preventing the the issue from being introduced was addressed in an earlier patch.  However, the fix requires that all such indexes be repaired whether corrupted or not. Therefore, after applying this patch, whether the indexes have been repaired or not, limber will kick off and they will all be deleted and recreated in the background.  If the server holds large dibs, one may choose to apply this particular patch in the afterhours time.
